Limited Edition: 2500
Description
In a tribute to the world’s dentists, Ronadró created his first dental porcelain figurine. This remarkable bisque porcelain statue captures the beauty and radiance of a young girl holding her favorite doll on her “First Visit” to the family dentist. “First Visit” has been designed to reflect the 1980’s look in the dentist’s attire, chair, and the little girl’s doll. Each year that passes will surely date this piece of art, thereby making it a valuable collector’s item for your office or home.

Description
A heirloom lead sketched drawing by Ronadró, “Dentistry 1960” reflects a typical dental office of the 60’s which was becoming more sterile, especially over the period of the 30’s and 40’s. It was during the 1960’s that “four-handed dentistry” began to emerge. This print depicts the assistant along with the dentist and patient in a typical office of the period. The x-ray shown was manufactured by General Electric. The fifth in a historical series of six is printed on acid-free paper which will last 300 years.

Description
A heirloom lead sketched drawing by Ronadró, “Dentistry 1930” shows a typical cluttered dental office of the 30’s. As equipment became more elaborate and more specialized, the office filled up with machines that could appear frightening and chaotic to the patient. The office depicted is an excellent example of the dental office of the time. In addition, the dental x-ray machine which was pioneered by C. Howard Kells was now extensively used. The fourth in a historical series of six is printed on acid-free paper which will last 300 years.
