Description
The sculptor created this representational work of art with the Otolaryngologist in mind.
The surgeon’s life-sized hands, patined in a special golden brown, are accurately depicted performing surgery of the ear with modern instruments. The face of the patient is covered with a surgical sheet, leaving the ear exposed. The sheet is patinaed in a blue/green.
Restorative Hands is mounted on a three-part hand-rubbed black walnut base at a 15-degree viewing angle.
