Description

“Dentistry 1840” reflects dentistry in the year of the first dental college in the world, the Baltimore College of Dental Surgery. Sixty-four molds were used to produce this masterpiece. This historical porcelain figurine reflects the dentist in the attire of the day. His patient, a little girl in pigtails has just lost one of her baby teeth, which is being shown to the little girl’s brother by the dentist. The boy’s look of amazement, straw hat, slingshot in his rear pocket, and a rope around his waist is a tribute to Ronadro’s artistic talent.
