The instruments are accurately produced and finished in a black acid patina while the surgeon’s hands are done in soft glove tan and the patient’s knee is a burnished brown bronze. This museum quality example of fine art, in representational form, has been enthusiastically received by the world’s orthopedic surgeons. It is displayed on an elevated black walnut base with verde marble for perfect viewing.
